An official meeting was held in the presence of the Turkish Consul, the commercial attaché of the Turkish embassy, along with Mr. Subeih, the head of the Businessmen's Council in Basra Governorate.

The event was attended by Mr. Raad Al-Maliki, the General Manager of Al-Shouk International Group of companies, and Mr. Osama Qasim Mustafa, the authorized director of Sour Al-Bahja Company. This contract is considered a strategic step aimed at appointing Mr. Osama Qasim as the exclusive agent for Turkish tea products in Baghdad. A contract for the exclusive agency of premium Turkish tea was signed between Al-Shock International Company and Mr. Admu Yamam Basha, the authorized director of Admu Yamam Basha Company, on March 28, 2025, at AL-Shock company's headquarters in Basra.

Under this contract, Admu Yamam Basha Company will undertake the distribution of Turkish tea in Ethiopia. This step aligns with Al-Shouck International Group's strategy to enhance its presence in African markets, especially in a country with a rich culture of tea consumption like Ethiopia.

Both parties emphasized the importance of this collaboration during the contract signing, as it represents a new beginning to strengthen trade relations between Iraq and Ethiopia. In its efforts to strengthen its presence in the coffee market, Al-Shock International Company announced the launch of its new brand 'Napoletano,' aimed at producing high-quality coffee that caters to the tastes of Arab consumers, particularly in the growing Iraqi market.

To achieve this goal, the company hosted Ethiopian expert Adamu Yimam Basha, who has extensive experience in coffee cultivation and production.
